They have been distributed at major international conventions and are actively used as reference documents by organisations working to advance filtered tailings technology and reduce the safety and environmental risks associated with tailings storage facilities. The consortium continues to invite industry feedback, with both documents now forming the foundation of an evolving global knowledge base.

Filtered Stacked Tailings - A Guide for Study Managers
A 132-page spiral-bound study guide and an accompanying white paper, each built around the same design principle: the complexity belongs to the content, not the layout. The designer's job is to make sure nothing gets in the way.
That meant a system with clear hierarchy, precise technical graphics and charts readable under time pressure, and content placement that allowed a reader to move through dense, phased technical processes without losing orientation. The closure-first framework underpinning both documents, designing for final rehabilitation from the earliest planning stages, required visual sequencing that made a long, multi-stage process legible from a single spread.
